UPDATE 17/12/2013

Thank you to everyone who came to see Santa, and thank you for all your kind donations towards 'Party on the Rec 2013' we raised with your kindness and support .... a fantastic £322.63

 

A Christmas message to all our friends and supporters of 'Party on the Rec'.

What a year its been, We've had the Queens Diamond Jubillee celebrations, The Olympic and Paralympic games, We've had a world Record free fall from the top of the world. And can you believe that we actually had a hose pipe ban ......... and then what happened it never stopped raining.

Sadly 'Party on the Rec' 2012 and many many more events around the country could not go ahead due to the bad weather. This had to be the saddest day of my life and the same for the rest of the Committee.

Now we have picked ourselves up dusted down and are ready to do it all again.

Well we are just over 3 weeks till the end of 2012,

the committee has had a little bit of a restructure over the past few months, and i can say with confidence we are more than ready for 'Party on the Rec' 2013.

I would like to take this opportunity to say a big thankyou to a few past members of the ACA.

If i have forgot anyone you have my apologies but to these people who have given there time for free over the last 6 years of 'Party on the Rec' and helped make it the success it has become today, I thank you on behave of the present committee and the Residents of Awsworth and surrounding areas, I couldn't have pulled it off without you all, I wish you all well in what ever you do in the future. Thank you.

Finally i would just like to finish up and say on behave of myself and my committee, We wish you all a fantastic Christmas and a happy and (Dry) New Year.

See you all on July 6th 2013... it cant come quick enough.
